- Coaches approach through Lofer towards the centre to reach the Almbahn I valley-station drop-off. Empty coaches may park at P1 while space remains, otherwise at P2 by the tourist-information grounds.

- Sturm provides ski school, ski rental and ski storage directly at Almbahn I valley station.

About Skigebiet Almenwelt Lofer
Almenwelt Lofer is a family-oriented ski area in the Salzburger Saalachtal. SenderExpress is one of its two child-safe eight-seat chairlifts.

- Almbahn I connects Lofer village centre with Loderbichl. Almbahn II continues from there into Almenwelt Lofer.
- Ski season
- For the 2026/27 season, weekend skiing is scheduled for 5–6 and 12–13 December 2026, subject to sufficient snow. Daily skiing is scheduled from 18 December 2026.

Terrain & ability levels
Blue pistes include Grubhörndl Familie, Schönbühel Familie and Märchenwald. Postalm Standard and Hochwena are black pistes.
Beginners & families
The Kinderland practice lift at Almbahn I valley station is free for everyone. The conveyor at Almbahn II mountain station is also free to use, with a paid gondola return trip required to reach it.
More to explore on skis
The roughly 1 km Hexen Funline beside SenderExpress runs through the forest with waves, jumps and banked turns. The Lofi Funline follows the Family Express chairlift.
