THE SKI AREA
Tegelberg in Schwangau centres its public piste skiing on family-oriented valley slopes equipped with snowmaking. The Kinderland caters for the youngest children, alongside the Gamslift and Falkenlift platter lifts and the Adlerlift for older children.
THE SKI AREA
Tegelberg: public valley slopes and the separate Tegelberg ski route.
The Tegelberg ski route is separate from the valley pistes. It follows the former main descent and is only occasionally partly prepared.
Figures describe the ski area. For today’s open lifts and pistes, check the operator’s live report.
The Kinderland has a Sunkid conveyor belt for the youngest children; Gamslift and Falkenlift are platter lifts, while Adlerlift caters for older children.
The Tegelberg ski route crosses alpine terrain and requires skiing ability. Avalanche protection applies only immediately around its spaced markings; the route is not patrolled, and descending skiers must watch for uphill skiers.
Rohrkopfhütte, halfway between the valley and mountain stations, serves snacks and mountain breakfasts.
